My grandmother said “If you want to go to art school I will only help support you if you study graphic design,” so naturally that’s what I did. To this day I am full of gratitude for her wisdom which allowed me to graduate from the Academy of Art University and thoroughly enjoy a rewarding career in the professional arts.
Upon graduating, I was offered a job at Primo Angeli Inc. in San Francisco. I honed my skills there alongside an amazing group of creatives. When my husband and I had our first child I shifted my focus and decided to work from home. I was fortunate to raise two incredible children while also growing two very successful brands: Mary’s Gone Crackers and Three Twins Ice Cream. Before we knew it, the kids were off to college so I seized the opportunity to go back to the office as a Senior Designer at Truly Creative. Once again I worked with a talented design team, collaborating daily on a wide range of CPG projects. My experiences continuously inspire me and have taught me that one is never finished learning.
As a designer, my greatest strength is active listening—it allows me to translate ideas into imaginative and effective solutions. Equally valuable is my openness to the unknown, embracing the creative process as the fuel I need to develop thoughtful, impactful designs. I am committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for my clients, large or small, and ensuring every project is both visually compelling and strategically effective.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family, go sailing on the bay, hike Mt. Tam, travel, and cook delicious, healthy meals. I stay in touch with the artist inside by noticing the beauty around me in everyday life.
